Editor's Note - April 2022

So only 9 months of the year to go. Time is just zipping past us. We are going into a month of short weeks and staff taking leave to enjoy time off with their families. We have noticed that more contact centres are recalling their staff to 100% or close to 100% to work back in the offices, with the recent announcements it would appear that business in general is returning back to some form of stability. The Contact Centre industry has continued to grow and there are some exciting campaigns happening. 

With the recent relaxation of rules around COVID hopefully we are on a path back to normality and we look forward to the time when you do not have to be restricted to a mask in the offices, however, for our own safety please be cautious and take care of yourselves. 

The CCMG Conference will be held in August this year and we still expect this one to be virtual. The awards will launch in July with the awards event in November and the current plans are to have this as a face to face event, depending on circumstances we will finally be able to see one another and celebrate our industry and our winners together.

S. Seta and the industry have been hard at work re-doing the much needed qualifications for Agents, Team Leaders and Managers. Compliments to the team that have invested their time and their knowledge to ensure that these qualifications will ensure that the delegates are set to add value to our industry.
